In Olbia 1 million passengers between port and airport in June

In June 2025 the airport and port system of Olbia has exceeded one million passengers on arrival and departure, according to an elaboration of the Communication and the UniOlbia Study Center on Sardinia Mobility data of the Sardinia Region.

In detail, between 1° and 30 June transited 1,048,999 passengers between the airport "Olbia Costa Smeralda" and the port "Isola Bianca", with a growth of +3.2% compared to the same period of 2024. Of these, 564,748 passengers have travelled through the airport.

More than a million people moved along the main roads of Gallura, towards the south (San Teodoro, Budoni, areas of Nuoro) and north (Costa Smeralda, Arzachena, Palau, Santa Teresa Gallura, La Maddalena archipelago), crossing the elevated road and the ring road of Olbia, strategic hubs of regional tourist traffic.
