Employment prospects in shipbuilding

Shipbuilding is a growing sector in Italy, with many job opportunities both nationally and internationally. Graduates in Naval Engineering may find employment at shipyards, design firms, shipping companies, ship classification bodies and marine equipment manufacturing companies.

Italy is world leader in the production of superyachts, with a market share of 54%, and needs many technicians (link).

The course in Naval Engineering at Olbia, together with those of Genoa, Trieste and Naples, will therefore offer an excellent training, preparing students to respond to the technological and environmental challenges of the future.
