The Anvur approves the degree program in Naval Engineering in Olbia

The Anvur (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca“National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System” ) has given a favourable opinion to the activation of the Degree in Naval Engineering in Olbia offered by the University of Cagliari with the support of the UniOlbia Consortium.

According to the official document of the Anvur, the Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering, which will start from academic year 2024/2025, has met all the initial accreditation criteria, The European Commission has recently published a report on the European Union’s research and development programme.

The new training path - the fourth in Italy after those of Trieste, Genoa, Naples - responds to the growing needs of companies in the nautical sector, a sector in continuous expansion in Sardinia, in particular in the district of Olbia and the Costa Smeralda.

The degree program in Naval Engineering - whose lessons will be held in Olbia in the premises of the former Sei in via dei Lidi - is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to face the technological and environmental challenges of the nautical sector in which Italy is a world leader in the production of superyacht.

Students will have the opportunity to study in a stimulating and innovative environment, with access to cutting-edge laboratories of the companies in the district of Olbia and a highly qualified teaching staff.

In addition, in the former Geovillage, will have available numerous accommodations  after the agreement between UniOlbia, Cipnes Gallura, University of Cagliari and Ersu di Cagliari.
