Let’s talk about the yacht Koru of Jeff Bezos (Amazon), second richest man in the world with a wealth of 211.4 billion dollars; the yacht Symphony of Bernard Arnault (LVMH), third richest man in the world with 200.2 billion dollars; and the yacht Wayfinder of Bill Gates (Microsoft), the eighth richest man in the world with 135.8 billion dollars.

The three superyachts have a total value of 425 million dollars and represent almost 46% of the total value of the superyachts owned by the eight richest men in the world. Their owners own a total estate of 769 billion dollars. These data emerge from an analysis conducted by the Communication and Research Centre of Cipnes Gallura, in collaboration with UniOlbia. The analysis is based on VesselFinder’s satellite data, the yacht values reported by superyachtfan.com and Forbes' ranking of world billionaires.

Superyacht in Italy

Currently, in Italy there are superyachts of five of the eight richest men in the world. Besides the three moored in Sardinia, there is the yacht Musashi of Larry Ellison (Oracle), fourth in the world with a patrimony of 179.1 billion dollars, moored to La Spezia, and the yacht Launchpad of Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), fifth to the world with 174.9 billion dollars, which is located in Positano.

Superyacht in the Mediterranean

In the Mediterranean are present six of the superyachts of the eight richest men in the world. In La Ciotat, France, is moored the yacht Dragonfly of Sergey Brin (Google), the seventh richest man in the world with a heritage of 146.2 billion dollars. In Iceland, however, there is the yacht Senses by Larry Page (Google), the sixth richest man in the world with a wealth of 152.8 billion dollars. Elon Musk, the richest man in the world with 249.8 billion dollars, doesn’t own a yacht.

Jeff Bezos' yacht Koru was in Cagliari until 14 July, when it began a cruise along the eastern coast of Sardinia, arriving on 15 July between the islands of Molara and Tavolara. Bernard Arnault’s Symphony yacht, not charted by VesselFinder, was spotted at Cala di Volpe with a short excursion to Porto Rafael on 13 July. Bill Gates' Wayfinder yacht is moored off Golfo Aranci.
